Rescue

 

Once we have a bully in our care, we work alongside the best vet in Bali to get them back to full health. This includes:  

  • Blood tests

  • Sterilization

  • Deworming

  • Vaccinations

  • Tick treatment

  • Any other treatments they may need

Once the dogs have been treated by the vet, I bring them to my home and they have time to heal and build up trust with me.

Treatment

 

A mandatory checkup and sterilization costs about $300 USD.

  • Food costs $50-80 USD a month per dog.

  • USD $35,000 already donated so we could buy land for the Rescue Centre.

  • USD $50,000 still needed to build the centre, which will house 60 dogs.

  • Costs of rehabilitation can range between $500-$3,000 depending on each bully's behavioural issues and the time to declare our Bully “adoptable”

Rehabilitation and Training

 

I evaluate the bully’s character and bring in my K9 trainers and behaviourists.

I have to make sure I choose the right trainer for the right temperament of the dog in order to give them the best head start.

Rehabilitation and training can be by far the most expensive cost of the rescue process but its essential to help our bullies fully recover mentally and physically from any previous cruelty, neglect or abuse.

Our bullies will be trained for obedience, respect, controlling over-excitement, behaving well at home, walking on the lead nicely, getting along with humans and other dogs, and controlling excess barking.
